On this cold Sunday evening, excitement crackles as we await the start of Discovering Incredibly Outstanding Danish Electronics. We board the waiting bus at the Flux building in Eindhoven with a collective buzz of enthusiasm. As the engine hums to life, so does our group’s energy. We sing songs and enjoy drinks and snacks on the bus. The bus driver learns the Thor song and after a quick stop at a McDonald’s which is just about to close, we are snuggling in our seats and getting comfortable for a long bus trip to Aalborg. The night doesn’t invite much sleep, unfortunately. As the sky begins to lighten, the bus rolls into the welcoming grounds of Aalborg University. We have a wonderful breakfast with Chocomel and bolletjes cheese and ham. We are ready for the day!
