DIODE is the name of a study trip headed to Denmark, organized by the study association Thor of Electrical Engineering and Automotive at Eindhoven, University of Technology.
- What does DIODE mean?
DIODE is an acronym for Discovering Incredibly Outstanding Danish Electronics. This reflects the purpose of the trip, which is to explore Denmark’s technological and cultural aspects with a group of students from Eindhoven.
- What is Thor?
The e.t.s.v. Thor is the study association of the department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven, University of Technology. Thor was founded in 1957, the same year as the university. Thor organizes activities that bring students in direct contact with the engineering industry. In this capacity, Thor regularly organizes study tours to give the students an insight into the international electrical engineering and automotive industry.
- When will this study trip take place?
The DIODE study trip will take place in November of 2023. We will depart in the evening of the 12th of November, and return to Eindhoven on the 18th.
- Who will participate in the study trip?
The study trip is meant for bachelor and master students of Electrical Engineering or Automotive who are members of the study association Thor.
