During the study trip, we will visit Aalborg, Aarhus, and Copenhagen. The mix of three old cities, each having a rich culture and tourism will create a diverse Danish city trip. Next to sightseeing and tasting the atmosphere in every city, we will visit universities and companies to learn about the academic and industrial identity of Denmark. We are planning to offer a fun and broad
interest experience to every participant by visiting companies that have interests in a range of research and innovation areas.

  • Aalborg

The tour will start in Aalborg. Aalborg is one of the big harbor cities in Denmark which has a long history. Because of the excellent location between the North-sea and Kattegat, many industries trading with Greenland settled here. Besides, Aalborg is home to one of the highest-ranked universities in Europe.

  • Aarhus

After Aalborg, we will travel down to Aarhus, again an old harbor city. It is a big central city, connecting different parts of Denmark. It, therefore, has a big container port together with some of Denmark’s biggest company headquarters. It has a rich culture with many creative institutes and it houses the biggest university in Scandinavia, the Aarhus University.

  • Copenhagen

Our final destination is Copenhagen. The capital of Denmark is a touristic city and is known for its quality
of life and green economy. With several universities, beautiful architecture, and business clusters in different innovation areas, life science being the most prominent, there is plenty to discover.
